From August 10 to 25, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Business Association (YBA) organized a series of activities to commemorate its 30th anniversary (1994 – 2024). Themed “Pioneering – Building,” the event has garnered the attention of thousands of entrepreneurs. Over the years, Long An International Port has consistently supported YBA’s activities at numerous significant events, contributing to the sharing and connection of the domestic and international business communities towards pioneering innovation, developing a green economy, and promoting sustainable growth.
A 30-year journey with many remarkable milestones
With the participation of over 30,000 visitors, including 4,000 CEOs and hundreds of startups, InnoEx 2024 and Vietnam CEO Forum 2024 created a vibrant international platform. The two forums, themed “Renovation – Improvement” and “Innovation – Reform,” focused on finding breakthrough solutions to help Vietnamese businesses enhance their competitiveness in the new era. Continuing the series of commemorative activities, the tennis tournament and the trade connection event brought a dynamic festival with nearly 300 athletes and over 500 visitors. Long An International Port participated in the trade connection alongside nearly 150 booths representing various industries, creating an ideal networking space for the community.
On the evening of August 24, 2024, YBA Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to mark its 30th anniversary with the participation of thousands of entrepreneurs, leaders, experts, and representatives from the business community.
Over the past three decades, YBA Ho Chi Minh City has attracted more than 4,000 members and built an ecosystem of over 15,000 members, becoming an important bridge in the business community. With more than 2,500 domestic and international trade connection programs, YBA Ho Chi Minh City has significantly contributed to expanding markets and international cooperation. Notably, the market capitalization of member businesses has exceeded 1 quadrillion VND.
The contributions of the YBA Ho Chi Minh City network extend beyond business, generating tens of trillions of VND for the state budget and over 500 billion VND for social welfare activities, along with thousands of billions of VND from member businesses.
The successful anniversary program served as an opportunity to reflect on the 30-year journey, honor the contributions of generations of entrepreneurs, and set the strategic direction for future development, contributing to the promotion of the young business community in Ho Chi Minh City and the young business community in general.
