On March 24, 2023, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh Logistics Association (HLA) led by Ms. Dang Minh Phuong – President of HLA together with nearly 60 business members had a networking event at Long An International Port. Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Vo Quoc Thang, Chairman of Dongtam Group, Mr. Vo Quoc Huy, Chairman of Long An International Port, and the company’s Board of Directors.
HLA is a volunteer organization composed of businesses, universities, colleges, and educational institutions in the logistics sector active in the areas of freight forwarding, transportation, consulting, warehousing, port, etc. Established in September 2021, HLA has over 200 members cooperating together to protect the rights and interests of HLA members, support members in its goals for operational efficiency, and ultimately contribute to the economic development of Ho Chi Minh City and the entire country.

At the meeting, Mr. Vo Quoc Thang, Chairman of Dongtam Group, briefly introduced the development progress of Long An International Port from its early days of construction to its future development plans. Long An International Port aims to contribute to the development of the whole area by building a multi-purpose and modern port city complex which, in the future, will connect the Southern Key Economic Region and the Mekong Delta with other regions nationwide and around the world.
